Introduction of the Chairman for “The Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024”

Esteemed Leaders, Chiefs, Religious Clergies, Peace Advocates, and Development Partners, NPI is honored to introduce to the nation and beyond the chairman for the upcoming national program, “The Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024.”

We are proud to announce that the chairman of this monumental event is His Royal Majesty, Ya Na Abukari Mahama II, the Overlord of Dagbon Kingdom, a revered leader whose influence and commitment to peace resonate across Ghana.

This significant event, scheduled for 2nd November 2024, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, will take place at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale. It will bring together 11 traditional rulers, who, as pillars of wisdom and authority, will guide discussions on peaceful elections. The event also promises the active involvement of religious leadership, represented by esteemed Islamic and Christian clergies, whose moral guidance will help shape the narrative of unity and peace.

We are honored to have keynotes and guest speakers from across various sectors, including distinguished members of the Ghanaian Parliament, diplomatic representatives from selected embassies, and political party flagbearers. Their insights and experiences will enrich the dialogue, creating a powerful platform for peacebuilding and collaboration.

In addition, stakeholders and institutions dedicated to peace and national development will contribute to the success of this historic event. With such a diverse and distinguished assembly, NPI is confident that this program will set a robust foundation for peaceful elections and promote a vision of a united and prosperous Ghana.
