Royal Announcement: His Royal Majesty Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I to Join Panel on Traditional Approaches to Electoral Peace-building

The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is deeply honored to announce that His Royal Majesty Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, the esteemed Overlord of the Gonja Land Kingdom, will be a distinguished participant in the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event. This pivotal gathering will be held on November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I will lend his revered presence to the panel discussion entitled “Perspectives from Traditional Leaders: Traditional Approaches to Electoral Peace-building.” His Royal Highness will provide invaluable insights into the role of traditional governance in conflict resolution, cultural mediation, and fostering unity during challenging times. His leadership in promoting peaceful coexistence across the Gonja Land Kingdom serves as a model for how traditional authority can influence the peace-building process within national elections.
