The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is deeply honored to announce that His Royal Majesty Kuoro Richard Babini Kanton IV, the esteemed Overlord of the Tumu Traditional Area, will graciously offer his royal presence as a distinguished participant in the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event. This significant gathering is scheduled for November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
As the revered leader of the Tumu Traditional Area, Kuoro Richard Babini Kanton IV will serve as one of the panel chiefs for the discussion titled “Perspectives from Traditional Leaders: Traditional Approaches to Electoral Peace-building.” His Majesty’s royal insight and deep-rooted wisdom will greatly enhance the discourse on the essential role of traditional authorities in maintaining peace, order, and stability during elections. His Majesty’s commitment to safeguarding the cultural heritage and unity of the Tumu people will provide a powerful example of how traditional leadership can promote peaceful electoral processes.
