Royal Proclamation: His Royal Majesty Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, to Offer Royal Guidance on Traditional Electoral Peace-building

The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is deeply honored to announce that His Royal Majesty Togbe Afede XIV, the revered Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and President of the Asogli Traditional Area, will graciously lend his royal presence as a distinguished participant in the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event. This momentous gathering is scheduled for November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

As a royal custodian of the Asogli State’s traditions and values, Togbe Afede XIV will serve as one of the panel chiefs during the discussion titled “Perspectives from Traditional Leaders: Traditional Approaches to Electoral Peace-building.” His Majesty’s royal wisdom and long-standing leadership will illuminate the discussions on the pivotal role traditional authority plays in conflict resolution and fostering peaceful electoral environments.
