The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is deeply privileged to announce that His Eminence Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, the esteemed National Chief Imam of Ghana, will deliver a highly anticipated keynote address at the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event. This monumental gathering is scheduled for this November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
As a towering figure of peace, unity, and interfaith dialogue in Ghana and beyond, His Eminence Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will speak on the vital topic: “Religious Leadership and National Unity.” With his unparalleled influence as the spiritual leader of the Muslim community in Ghana, the National Chief Imam will offer deep insights into how religious leadership can serve as a force for peace and cohesion, particularly during politically sensitive times such as elections.
Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will focus on the following key areas:
