The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is honored to announce that Sheikh Maulvi Alhaji Mohammed Bin Sailh, the esteemed Emeer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, will serve as a panel member at the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event, scheduled for November 2, 2024 at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
As a respected leader within the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, Sheikh Maulvi Alhaji Mohammed Bin Sailh will contribute to the panel discussion titled “The Islamic Perspective on Peaceful Elections,” offering his insights on how Islamic teachings can promote peace and unity during elections. His participation will highlight the role of Islamic leadership in fostering justice, tolerance, and harmony throughout the electoral process.
Sheikh Maulvi Alhaji Mohammed Bin Sailh’s key points will include:
- The application of Islamic principles of peace and justice to maintain electoral integrity and prevent conflict.
- The role of Ahmadiyya Muslim leaders in guiding their communities towards peaceful and responsible electoral engagement.

The panel will also feature:

This forum will bring together religious, political, and traditional leaders to collaboratively work towards ensuring peaceful and harmonious elections in Ghana in 2024.
