Panel Announcement: Alhaji Mohammed Inusah, General Secretary of the National Muslim Conference of Ghana, to Join Panel Discussion on the Islamic Perspective for Peaceful Elections

The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is honored to announce that Alhaji Mohammed Inusah, the respected General Secretary of the National Muslim Conference of Ghana, will join the panel discussion at the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024”event, scheduled for November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

As a prominent Islamic leader, Alhaji Mohammed Inusah will contribute to the panel discussion titled “The Islamic Perspective on Peaceful Elections,” offering his insights and reflections on how Islamic values and principles can support and promote peaceful electoral processes. His participation will highlight the essential role of Islamic leadership in fostering peace, justice, and community cohesion during the elections.

The panel discussion will include:

  • Islamic teachings on peace and harmony, and their relevance to maintaining unity and preventing conflict during elections.
  • The role of Muslim leaders in encouraging a culture of peaceful engagement and responsible citizenship.
