The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) is pleased to announce that Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah, Minister for National Security, will participate as a distinguished guest at the “Traditional and Religious Leaders’ Advocacy for Peaceful Elections in Ghana 2024” event. This vital gathering will take place on November 2, 2024, at the UDS Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Tamale, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
As Minister for National Security, Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the nation’s stability and overseeing efforts to prevent conflicts during the electoral period. His presence at this event underscores the importance of national security in ensuring a peaceful election process.
Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah will address the following key areas:
- National Security’s role in coordinating intelligence efforts to anticipate and neutralize threats to the 2024 elections.
- Collaborative approaches with the Ghana Police Service, security agencies, and other key institutions to ensure electoral peace.
