The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) extends warm and heartfelt Eid al-Adha greetings to the illustrious traditional rulers and the cherished people of the noble kingdoms of Dagbon, Mamprugu, Nanung, Gonjaland, and the Mossi People of Burkina Faso.
We pay deep homage and offer our sincerest felicitations to:
• His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari Mahama II, King and Overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom

As we mark this sacred occasion of Eid al-Adha, a celebration of sacrifice, obedience, and faith, we are reminded of the values that bind our people loyalty to tradition, reverence for divine guidance, and commitment to communal harmony.
These noble thrones are more than ancestral seats of power they are sacred custodians of our collective history and spiritual identity. The wisdom and restraint of our kings have preserved peace where division could have taken root. Their presence remains the steady heartbeat of our nations.
The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI), guided by its mission of peace and unity, is resolved to deepen its collaboration with these revered kingdoms. We will continue to initiate platforms that bridge cultures, foster inter-kingdom solidarity, and revive shared values through festivals like Eid and beyond.
We recognize with deep admiration the silent sacrifices, sleepless efforts, and compassionate leadership of our kings who endure the burdens of their people, often at great personal cost. Their resilience and patience remain unmatched.
As we lift our hearts in prayer, we ask Allah (SWT) to grant our kings and their councils:
• Long life and good health,
• Unwavering wisdom in times of challenge,
• And divine protection as they guide their kingdoms through both trials and triumphs.
May this Eid inspire renewed unity among our youth, loyalty among our leaders, and peace among our people. May every drumbeat, every prayer, and every shared meal remind us that we are stronger when we walk together across rivers, borders, and generations.
Eid Mubarak to all our revered kings, noble elders, faithful citizens, and beloved communities.
One People. One Heritage. One Destiny.
