The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) proudly celebrates the successful and extraordinary DAMBA Festival 2025, observed with reverence, pride, and unity across the royal domains of Wala, Gonjaland, Nanung, Dagbon, and Mamprugu.
This year’s celebrations reflected not only the depth of our traditional heritage, but also our collective commitment to peace, development, and intergenerational unity. DAMBA 2025 reminded us all that our customs are not frozen in time they are living traditions, renewed and reimagined by the people and leaders of today.

Cultural Pride with a Global Reach
The 2025 DAMBA Festival attracted dignitaries, tourists, researchers, and cultural ambassadors from across the region and abroad. Through vibrant performances, sacred ceremonies, and communal celebrations, the festival:
