Maa Shaa Allah! The Nanung Peace Initiative (NPI) has successfully held the Rekindling the Spirit: Ramadan Gathering at the Wulensi Market Square on Friday, 14th March 2025. This sacred event, marked by Qur’anic recitation, prayers, and Iftar, brought together esteemed chiefs, religious leaders, elders, and the sons and daughters of the Nanung Kingdom in a spirit of unity and reflection.
The gathering served as a moment of remembrance for those who have passed on, acknowledging their sacrifices for Nanung’s peace and development. Special prayers were offered for the continued progress and prosperity of the kingdom, seeking Allah’s blessings upon all who work towards its betterment.
Speaking at the event, leaders emphasized the importance of forgiveness, togetherness, and seeking divine mercy as key to strengthening peaceful coexistence in Nanung. The overwhelming participation and support demonstrated the commitment of the people to fostering harmony and unity in the kingdom.

The next gathering is scheduled to take place in Bimbilla on Friday, 28th March 2025, at the Bimbilla Roundabout, near the Central Mosque. NPI calls on all to continue supporting this noble cause as we strive for a stronger, more united Nanung.
